The Bilingual Family NewsletterEditor: Sami Grover This exciting quarterly publication, now in its 27th year, is designed to help all those families who, for various reasons, are in a situation where they can give their children (and themselves) the advantages of being bi- or multi-lingual. The newsletter publishes short informative articles on current thoughts on language learning, bilingualism, biculturalism, mother tongue, schools, etc. It also publishes descriptions of how particular families have managed in their particular situations, problems encountered and how these were overcome. Readership: mixed marriage families; expatriate families in embassies, schools, contract work etc.; immigrant families; students of language learning; researchers in field of bilingualism. If you enter a subscription, you will be provided with a password giving you free access to the archive of back issues.

The Bilingual Family Newsletter welcomes short articles, anecdotes, letters and queries related to any and all aspects of bi/multilingual and bi/multicultural family life. The style should be accessible and not overly academic. The language of submission is English. Main articles should be approximately 1,500 words (max. 2000). The Editor reserves the right to edit submissions and cannot guarantee inclusion in any particular issue. Entries in the "Contacts" section should be limited to name, telephone number/email, geographical area, age of any children, languages spoken in the family, and whom you are seeking to contact.
We also publish a range of books for parents of bi- or multilingual children, or those considering it.
